I'm back.

Going on a 3 days outdoor adventure for a school trip on which by the way is 5hours journey from your hometown is very tiring.

DELPHI MANNNN (with a Jamaican accent)

hehe.

Sooo...as you know. I'm back from my 3 days school trip in Delphi. Mannn. I'm so tired. Sleeping at 2 in the morning and waking up at 7am the next day well..it's not really the next day. It's already the same day. Catch my drift? hehe. It's sooooo tiring. Not a good idea. Especially when your doing sports and adventures the whole day. You need your sleep mann. hehe.

On Friday, the 9th of October. I woke up at around 6-30-ish-am. The bus was leaving at 8am so I had to rush and get ready. The journey from Co. Kildare to Co. Mayo is around 4 hours. Our journey to Mayo was 5 hours. In the morning we we're delayed. As usual....some people arrived late.. We waited around 10minutes for them...and to make matter worse. One of the teachers miscounted the number of the students going on the trip and hired a bus that didn't have enough seats for all the students going. We had to wait for another 30minutes until they arranged everything. They hired a mini-bus for the extra 4 students who didn't have a seat on the bus. Sooo...we were late in schedule by over 40minutes. What a bummer.

Our creepy art teacher was on the same bus with us while the other teachers brought their cars and some went on the mini bus. Once again. He and us (the students) do not go well. He creeps everyone out in every single possible ways there is.

We arrived in Delphi around 1-30-ish o'clock in the afternoon. I was starving. My tummy was rumbling the whole way to Delphi. I had breakfast but it wasn't that fulfilling. We stop over in a restaurant on the way but I didn't eat because the only food that we we're allowed to order was a breakfast roll and breakfast rolls are not my thing. The food in Delphi was delicious. Not more than special. And not less than special. It was fine for me.

After lunch. They gave us our rooms. Four people in each room. And I am sooo happy I got to share it with 3 amazing friends of Mine. Robyn, Niamh and Rachel. They are sooo weird and crazy and thats only a few reasons why I love them. The rooms was aboslutely horrible though. The radiator wasn't even turned on during those 3days I stayed. The bathroom was such a mess. When we first arrived. There was no shower curtain and we weren't sure if they we're going to give us one or not. So my friend Rachel and I took a shower first without a shower curtain. SUCH A BAD IDEA. When we we're both finish. Our bathroom was literally flooded.
When I got out from the shower. Someone came into our room and gave us a shower curtain. My friend and I were to excited to take a shower. hahaha.

The first activity we did was Surfing. Surfing was aboslutely FUN! I dislike putting on wetsuits and taking them off because it takes to long and it's sooo hard to put and take them off. Everyone was in the changing rooms for over 20minutes trying to put on their wetsuits and another 20minutes getting them off. Well...we obviously needed them to go surfing. I'm still over amazed that we got to do surfing. I always wanted to do that and I guess I can cross out surfing in my "to do list". Surfing was sooo fun. It looks sooo easy...but when you actually try it, it's sooo difficult. The instructors taught us the main lesson on how to surf. And I fell sooo many times. Nearly everytime I tried to surf I fell. The highlights during my surfing was that I STOOD UP. Yes. Me. I stood up...well..maybe for like 3-4 seconds and then I fell. But atleast I didn't fall straight away. During those 3-4 seconds was such great feeling. Watching and waiting for big waves to come was exciting. haha. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Too bad I didn't bring my camera with me to the beach because I didn't want it to get. Ohwell. The scene of the beach is stored somewhere safe in my mind:) Surfing is absolutely fun. But also very tiring. After surfing my arms were wrecked...but surfing was still worth it.

On the same night. My group went on a Forest walk. My goodness me. The forest we walked in was soooo big. And scary if I say so. Two guides/instructors came with us. Their names are Wally and Commador (AJ) hehe. The Forest Walk was a great experience. We went at night time and no lights or anythin. Two flash-lights only...which was held by Wally and AJ. It was sooo dark...and very mucky may I add. Thankgoodness. I wore my wellies. I got sooo dirty. Scratch my hands from the trees and branches that we passed and yet it was another highlight moment of my time in Delphi. Wally and AJ played tricks on us. Making us scared by running away from us for like 10minutes and our group was like lost. But they appeared back after 10minutes because we were all screaming and shouting. haha. During the walk we stopped for a break and during that break Wally and AJ told us stories. Stories that scared me already because by typing in the word stories. It just reminded me of the scary stories they told me. Dang it. It took me a while to forget about it. The stories they told us were scary stories. I don't know if their true or not...but I believed it on the night we went on the Forest Walk. Our group was terrified. We we're all holiding on to each other not wanted to be left alone in the forest. Which is why on the first night in Delphi. One of my friend who I shared the room with...slept in my bed. Not becuase she was scared. It was because her and I we're scared. haha.

That night was crazy. My room-mates and I didn't sleep until 2 in the morning. And the next day we had to wake up around 7.30am. We were all wrecked. To make matter worse...I had a sore-throat from all the shouting and screaming I did the day before. haha.

On Saturday...the activities we did was Delphi Challenge. High-Ropes. Rock-Tower and Archery.

The Delphi challenge was fun. I enjoyed it very much. Using your brains to achieve and finish the challenge. Let me tell you..those challenges were very hard. My group nearly lost their temper on each other because we were all losing our patiences. haha.

High-Ropes. Well...the name of the activity gave it away. Ropes that are High. It's walking and balancing on a tight rope. I was the first to do it in my group. Everyone found it scary for some reason. I beg to differ. It was fun. I wanted to do it again but the instructor (John) said there wasn't enough time because it was nearly lunch-time :)

After lunch. We did Rock Tower. Rock tower is Rock-Climbing and Absailing. Yet again. I got to the top and got to the bottom:) The instructor (Shelly) said I was good. hehe.

Archery was what we did after Rocktower. And yet again. I was good:)
Our teacher...Mr. Gurrin. The one who creeps everyone out. Came and watched us do archery. There was a competition in Archery in my group. To see who was the best of the best. Mr. Gurrin decided to join himself in the competition aswel. I don't know why? He was very cocky thinking he was the best. And thought that he was going to win. I must admit he was indeed very good. BUT. He did not came first place.

I came in first place.

I won by only 1inch from his arrow. He came second and I came first. I still can't believe I beated him. The prize I got...was the best prize ever. To be able to brag to Mr. Gurrin that I beated him. Mannnnnn. It felt good to brag to him. haha.

The same night...we didn't do any games though. Which was a total bummer. Instead we played wall ball. It's sooo hard to explain. Not bothered to type out and explain everything. haha. My friends and I were playing. We divided into teams. Girls Against Boys. And us girls were beating the boys butts in the game. haha. It was soooo funny because a person from the other team was soooo frustrated that his team was getting beat up by girls. hahaha.

Still the same night. My room-mates and I didn't fall asleep until around 2am-ish. We were sooo hyper. Singing really loud. Making lots of noises and eating sooo much junks. hahaha. Last night in Delphi was fun:)

Morning was yet another early start of the day for us. 7.30 am was the time I woke up. It was the day we were leaving Delphi:(

We left Delphi at 10 o'clock and arrived around 3o'clock. We had a stop over at McDonalds. I ordered McChicken Burger:) It was delicious. I sat down on a table and my two friends followed me. And guess who sat down also...?

Mr. Gurrin.

haha.
my goodness. He is just very weird. My friends and I talked about random things to him...haha. A very weird conversation.

I slept on the way back because didn't really have a proper sleep in Delphi.

When I arrived home. I straightly went to my bed and fell asleep. It was sooo good to be back in my cosy bed.

And now I am writting this blog:)

That was my School-trip in Delphi.

Jomarie out.
