SPRING BREAK BABY

Finally. It's Spring Break <3

I can sleep. Hallelujah.

I apologize for my recent absence here on blogspot. since I've been pretty much held up with my school work and studies. I've been stressing this whole week about Transition Year. Basically you have to do 6years of highschool here in Ireland but in my school 4th year is an exceptional. You can do it or not do it. Transition Year is a year where theres pretty much less pressure on you. You've just finished taken your JUNIOR CERT in 3rd year and it's just a break. You still do school work but theres less things to worry about. You go on a lot of trips. A LOT. You do a lot of different activities and get work experience. In my opinion I pretty much think that Transition Year can benefit me with my studies and in the future somehow.
But...my parents disagree. They think that it's a waste of year..I don't know how but thats just what they think. They will totally disapprove on me doing TY until Tuesday night. That night, was the night where I wrote almost 5 A4 pages. Front and Back pages on why I should do TY and why it's good for me. Since I can't explain it to them using my voice, I decided to explain it to them using what I like to do best. Writing. That just truely shows my true dedication and my passion on how badly I wanted to do transition Year. And here I am. With a smile on my face because today, I dropped off my application Transition Year to the Head of the TY's. Which means that...I'm doing TY baby :)

BUT my dad has given me conditions. In order to let me do TY. So many, and can't really remember all of it. First thing first, is what I can really remember...I know this sounds stupid, for me, at my age.
(1) I have to try eating vegetables. I'm pretty sure a lot of other people dislike vegetables. And I try to avoud eating them as possible as I can.
(2) Continue on with my studies..bah-blah-blah
(3) Can't remember..just something about work experience?
(4) I CANNOT REMEMBER
(5) I CANNOT REMEMBER
(6) I have to continue on writing on my other blogspot. THIS IS MY OLD SITE. DON'T CLICK HERE. My dad knows about this site and he expects me to continue on writing on that site. Which I will. Like bits and bobs about nothing but boring topics. BUT DO NOT FEAR. I WILL CONTINUE ON WRITING ON THIS SITE. The only reason why I started on to this site is because my parents didn't know about this. I kept this quite from my parents...because I don't want them to know about my personal stuff etc.
(7) I CANNOT REMEMBER

Well anyway, two weeks off. To bad it has to be ruined by the Junior Cert. The amount of work the teachers has given us to do over the break. Like...are you for real? Theres so much to do..and to top it off...since we're on our break. I have to go in to school for the first 3 days next week for extra art classes. What a Bummer...It's not that I'm bad or anything that I need extra classes. Its because my class is so behind on our art project that we need extra classes to finish it off. GOSH I'M SCREWED

I might go now...do a bit of sleeping.
I'll write later on.

Till next time...xoxo

I've been on Spring Break this past week.
TY sounds fun, and wow that paper you wrote definately sounds like a good idea to persuade your parents.
Haha I'm going to check out that blog even though you said not to.
    Get some sleep! :)

  2. Transition Year is AMAZING! Definitly try get involved in Young Social Innovators and Bt Young Scientist, and good work experience.
Here's a tip forvwork experience actually, but keep it a secret:
If you write a letter to the EU about doing work experience there, THEY LET YOU.
    It's insane.

Alsoo, the jc isn't that hard. Just do your study and your grand, the stress isn't as big as it seems. Nobody remembers what they got by 5th year (:
